HSI opens up 74 pts at 28,298; H-share up 34 pts to 10,716

[ET Net News Agency, 23 July 2018] HK stocks opened firmer on Monday following the
weaker close of the US equity markets on Friday despite the US president Donald Trump
threatened to impose tariffs on US$500 billion worth of Chinese products.
The Hang Seng Index opened up 74 points to 28,298. The H-share index also rose 34 points
to 10,716.
Hengan International (01044) jumped 3.4% to HK$73 becoming the biggest blue-chip gainer.
HSBC (00005) nudged up 0.3% to HK$73.45. HKEx (00388) edged up 0.2% to HK$234.6. Tencent
(00700) gained 0.3% to HK$377.6. CCB (00939) put on 0.4% to HK$6.89. China Mobile (00941)
was unchanged at HK$68.5. AIA (01299) rose 1% to HK$68.4. (KL)
