[ET Net News Agency, 23 March 2020] Jefferies Research cut its target price for China
Mengniu Dairy (02319) to HK$37.8 from HK$39 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house said Mengniu is ranked No.2 dairy name in China by sales. It has
leading brands in most segments of dairy products. Jefferies believes Mengniu has entered
a virtuous cycle of improving branding, new product launches, and market share gains.
It forecast Mengniu to achieve 5% sales CAGR and 13% recurring net profit CAGR in
2019-21. Jefferies is more positive than the market on Mengniu's potential to become
leader in the pasteurized milk segment. (KL)
