Ch Display Opt (00334) expects to record interim profit

[ET Net News Agency, 27 July 2021] China Display Optoelectronics Technology Holdings
Limited (00334) said the group is expected to record a profit attributable to owners of
the parent of the company of over RMB85 million for the six months ended 30 June 2021, as
compared to the loss attributable to owners of the parent of the company of approximately
RMB89 million for the six months ended 30 June 2020.
This was mainly due to (i) the increase in customer orders as the COVID-19 pandemic has
been gradually contained in mainland China; and (ii) the significant increase in sales
volume year-on-year, which in turn resulted in improved gross profit margin due to the
effect of economies of scales. (RC)
