CIMC (02039) to buy MCI Denmark & MCI China

[ET Net News Agency, 28 September 2021] China International Marine Containers (Group)
Co., Ltd. (02039) said it has agreed to buy the entire issued share capital of MCI Denmark
and all the equity interests in MCI China at the aggregate consideration of approximately
USD1,083.8 million.
MCI Denmark is principally engaged in product development, engineering testing and other
functions. It is also responsible for entering into sales contracts and major supplier
contracts with external parties. MCI China is a production and assembly base for
refrigerated containers and refrigerators. It does not engage in sale to external parties
and its products are mainly sold to MCI Denmark. (RC)
