CRRC (01766) denies investment in China Unicom

[ET Net News Agency, 17 August 2017] CRRC Corporation (01766) clarified it did not
participate in the subscription of shares of China Unicom A Share Company claimed by media
reports recently.
The media reports claimed that strategic investors will subscribe for about 9 billion
new shares in China Unicom A Share Company. Such strategic investors include Baidu,
Alibaba, Tencent, JD, ChinaNetCenter, CRRC, China Life, Suning Commerce, Eastone Century.
