HSBC Holdings (00005) completes shares buyback

[ET Net News Agency, 21 November 2017] HSBC Holdings (00005) said it purchased for
cancellation 460,000 ordinary shares of US$0.5 each on the London Stock Exchange from
Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited yesterday as part of its buyback, at the lowest
and highest price of GBP7.285 and GBP7.31 per share.
Following the purchase of these shares, the buyback has completed. Since the
commencement of the buyback, HSBC has repurchased for cancellation about 206 million
ordinary shares at a volume weighted average price of GBP7.3902 per ordinary share for a
total consideration of about US$2 billion. (HL)
