[I-bank focus]Strong start to CNY Golden Week for Macau

[ET Net News Agency, 20 February 2018] Citi Research said mainland visitation rose 19%
YoY in the first four days of the Chinese New Year (CNY) Golden Week versus comparable CNY
period last year.
The research house believes the encouraging visitation trends will bode well for a solid
February. Citi conservatively maintained its February GGR forecast at MOP25.5bn (+11%
YoY).
MGM will report its 4Q 2017 results before the US market opens on 20 February. Citi
forecast MGM China to report revenue of HK$4,139m (+7% YoY and +13% QoQ) and property
EBITDA of HK$1,113m (-6% YoY and +6% QoQ). On its estimates, total mass revenue grew 15%
QoQ and VIP GGR improved 13% QoQ. (KL)
