[ET Net News Agency, 9 August 2018] Swire Pacific (00019) said its profit attributable
to shareholders for the six months ended 30 June 2018 rose 11% year-on-year to HK$13,501
million.
Basic and diluted earnings per A share and B share were HK$8.99 and HK$1.8.
The revenue was HK$42,265 million, an increase of 5% from a year earlier.
Underlying profit attributable to shareholders, which principally adjusts for changes in
the valuation of investment properties, fell 67% year-on-year to HK$1,265 million.
The directors have declared first interim dividends of HK$1.2 (2017: HK$1) per A share
and HK24 cents (2017: HK20 cents) per B share, payable on 5 October. (SC)
