LifeTech Sci major holder to sell stake to China EB Ltd

[ET Net News Agency, 7 May 2018] LifeTech Scientific Corporation (01302) said it
received notice from the Medtronic group that Medtronic had entered into a definitive
agreement with China Everbright Limited (CEL) (00165) and another investor to dispose
22.4% equity interests in LifeTech Scientific Corporation to CEL and the rest of
Medtronic's minority equity interests in LifeTech Scientific Corporation to such other
investor.
Following completion, Medtronic will cease to have any interests in shares of LifeTech
Scientific Corporation and cease to be a substantial shareholder.
LifeTech Scientific Corporation will continue to maintain the strategic cooperation with
Medtronic on HeartTone pacemaker. Furthermore, both Medtronic and LifeTech Scientific
Corporation will look for future opportunities to expand the strategic collaboration. (HL)
