BJ Ent Water (00371) to raise HK$3.66bn from shares placing

[ET Net News Agency, 25 January 2018] Beijing Enterprises Water (00371) said it agreed
to place 450 million new shares at HK$5.9 per share, representing a discount of about 5.8%
to the closing price of HK$6.26.
The placing shares represent around 4.8% of the enlarged issued share capital of Beijing
Enterprises Water.
The proceeds of about HK$2,655 million will be used for general working capital of the
Group.
Beijing Enterprises Water also agreed to place about 169 million new shares to
controlling shareholder Beijing Enterprises Environmental Construction Limited at HK$5.9
per share, representing about 1.8% of the enlarged issued share capital of Beijing
Enterprises Water.
The proceeds of about HK$1,000 million will be used for general working capital of the
Group. (HL)
