Beijing Ent (392) year net up 10% to HK$6.88bn; div HK68 cts

[ET Net News Agency, 29 March 2018] Beijing Enterprises (00392) said its profit
attributable to shareholders for he year ended 31 December 2017 rose 10.3% year-on-year to
HK$6,880 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were HK$5.45.
Revenue amounted to HK$57,508 million, an increase of 2.8% from a year earlier.
In 2017, the overall gross profit margin was 16.3%, representing a decrease by 0.6% when
compared with the 16.9% in 2016. The decrease in overall gross profit margin was mainly
attributable to increase of employees cost and energy cost of Yanjing Beer during the
year.
The proposed final dividend is HK68 cents (2016: HK65 cents) per share, payable on 18
