Beijing Airport (00694) sees interim net turn to red

[ET Net News Agency, 15 July 2020] Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd.
(00694) said the company is expected to record a net loss in unaudited net profit for the
six months ended 30 June 2020 as compared with the unaudited net profit for the six months
ended 30 June 2019.
It was mainly attributable to the worldwide outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the
first half of 2020, which brought about demanding challenges to the global civil aviation
industry. Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the passenger throughput, aircraft movements
and cargo and mail throughput of Beijing Capital International Airport during the six
months ended 30 June 2020 recorded a relatively substantial decrease as compared with the
corresponding period last year, which resulted in a decrease in the aeronautical revenues
and non-aeronautical revenues of the company. (RC)
