Lippo China Res (00156) buys 365,350 shares in Tencent

[ET Net News Agency, 6 April 2018] Lippo Limited (00226) and Lippo China Resources
(LCR) (00156) said Continental Equity Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of LCR, acquired a
total of 365,350 shares in Tencent (00700) through a series of trades conducted in the
open market during the period from 29 March to 4 April 2018 for a total of about HK$148.5
million, before expenses, at an average price of HK$406.47 per Tencent share.
The acquired shares represent around 0.00384% of the total issued Tencent shares.
Lippo and LCR hold positive views towards the prospects of Tencent and are of the view
that the acquisitions provide the LCR Group with a good investment opportunity to expand
its investment portfolio in the information technology industry. (HL)
