China Unicom (00762) 4G net adds rise to 6.42m in January

[ET Net News Agency, 22 February 2018] China Unicom (00762) said it added 6.415 million
of 4G subscribers in January, with the pace rising from 4.438 million in December,
bringing the aggregate number of 4G subscribers to 181.291 million by the end of last
month.
The mobile operator added 2.872 million mobile billing subscribers in January, up from
2.824 million in December, with the total number of mobile billing subscribers of 287.035
million.
On fixed line business, there were reductions of 514,000 of local access subscribers and
additions of 501,000 of fixed-line broadband subscribers in January, with the total
customer size reaching 59.483 million and 77.04 million by the end of last month. (HL)
