[ET Net News Agency, 8 September 2017] China Medical System (CMS) (00867) said Treasure
Sea Limited and Viewell Limited agreed to place 60 million shares and 30 million shares
respectively at HK$13.6 per share.
The placing shares represent around 3.62% of the existing issued share capital of CMS.
The placing price represents a discount of about 6.98% to the closing price of HK$14.62.
Completion of the placing is expected to take place on 12 September.
Treasure Sea is a controlling shareholder of CMS and is wholly-owned by Lam Kong, an
Executive Director, the Chairman and the Chief Executive of CMS. Viewell is wholly-owned
by Chen Hongbing, an Executive Director of CMS.
Upon completion, the shareholding of Treasure Sea Limited and Viewell Limited will be
reduced to about 43.53% and 1.81% from 45.94% and 3.02%. Chen Hongbing also holds in his
own name about 0.81% stake in CMS. (HL)
