[ET Net News Agency, 23 May 2018] China Soft Power Technology (00139) said it agreed to
place, on a best effort basis, a maximum of 2,000 million new shares at HK$0.1 per share,
representing a discount of about 3.8% to the closing price of HK$0.104.
The placing shares represent around 13.59% of the enlarged issued share capital of China
Soft Power.
The maximum net proceeds of about HK$197 million will be used for repayment of loan of
the Group.
China Soft Power also said it has acquired 20 million shares in the share capital of
CMBC Capital (01141) on 21 May on open market at about HK$9.93 million (including
transaction costs). After such purchase, China Soft Power holds about 8.42% stake in CMBC
