[I-bank focus]Citi lowers China Hongqiao (01378) to HK$7.8

[ET Net News Agency, 18 October 2018] Citi Research reduced its target price for China
Hongqiao (01378) to HK$7.8 from HK$10.3, and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house said the structural story for aluminum demand growth outpacing supply
increase remains intact. Citi expects China Hongqiao to be affected by China's
power-sector supply reform given its high power self-sufficiency rate.
However, a complete self-sufficiency of alumina in 2018 should give Hongqiao some cost
advantage. Citi revised down its 2018/19 earnings forecast by 29%/46% primarily on lower
aluminum price assumption.
Citi added that Shandong Province Bureau's reform policies would lift cost of Hongqiao.
