[I-bank focus]Daiwa trims Pacific Textiles (01382) to HK$9.3

[ET Net News Agency, 26 November 2018] Daiwa Research lowered its target price for
Pacific Textiles (PT)(01382) to HK$9.3 from HK$9.6 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house hosted a post 1H FY2019 results NDR for PT's management. Daiwa said
the results beat many investors' expectations on both sales and gross margin. But
management gave a more cautious view of 2H FY2019, given multiple uncertainties relating
to the US-China trade war and Japan's weather.
Nonetheless, Daiwa remains positive on PT over the long term given the ramp-up of its
Vietnam facility and its dividend yield of 7%. It cut its FY2020-21 EPS forecasts by 2-6%
on higher operating expense assumptions. (KL)
