Guotai Junan 1H net down 25% to HK$507m; div HK3.3 cts

[ET Net News Agency, 22 August 2018] Guotai Junan (01788) said its profit attributable
to ordinary equity holders for the six months ended 30 June 2018 dropped 24.7%
year-on-year to HK$507 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were HK6.73 cents and HK6.71 cents.
The revenue was HK$1,678 million, an increase of 7.6% from a year earlier. The revenue
generated from the brokerage business decreased by 6.1% to HK$271 million
The proposed interim dividend is HK3.3 cents (2017: HK4.5 cents) per share, payable on
or about 26 September. (SC)
