[ET Net News Agency, 21 November 2017] Chow Tai Fook Jewellery (01929) said its profit
attributable to shareholders for the six months ended 30 September 2017 rose 45.6%
year-on-year to HK$1,779.1 million.
Basic earnings per share were HK17.8 cents.
Revenue amounted to HK$24,754.3 million, an increase of 15% from a year earlier. Same
Store Sales in Mainland China and Hong Kong and Macau recorded a positive growth of 10.3%
and 9.5%.
Gross profit grew 4.9% year-on-year to HK$7,166 million. Core operating profit rose
40.3% to HK$2,396 million.
The proposed interim dividend is HK12 cents (2016: an interim dividend of HK6 cents and
a special dividend of HK15 cents) per share, payable on or around 15 December. (HL)
