Fosun Pharma (02196) issues 68m H shares for HK$2.58b

[ET Net News Agency, 19 July 2018] Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) (02196) said
it agreed to issue 68 million H shares at the placing price of HK$38.2 per H Share.
The placing shares represent 12.32% and 2.65%, respectively, of the total issued H
shares and the total issued share capital of the company as enlarged by the issue of the
placing shares.
The placing price of HK$38.2 per H share represents a discount of 9.05% to the closing
price of HK$42 per H share as quoted on the Stock Exchange on 18 July 2018.
The net proceeds of the placing will be HK$2.58 billion, which will be used to repay
interest-bearing debts, replenish the working capital of the group, and finance potential
mergers and acquisitions domestically or overseas. (SC)
