[ET Net News Agency, 6 November 2018] Morgan Stanley lifted its target price for CITIC
Securities Co. (06030) to HK$16.36 from HK$15.21, and maintained its "equal-weight"
rating.
The research house noted CITICS's leading position in the institutional business and
private equity Strong investment banking and asset management business. High business and
staff costs are likely to drag down near-term ROE.
Its current valuation at 1.0x 2018 BVPS is higher than peers on average, reflecting its
longer-term potential with solid institutional and investment banking business, but Morgan
believes is fair at this point. (KL)
