{I-bank focus}JEF starts Nongfu Spring (09633) at HK$43.2

[ET Net News Agency, 30 November 2020] Jefferies Research initiated coverage on Nongfu
Spring (NF) (09633) with a "hold" rating and a target price of HK$43.2.
The research house said NF management's consistency in developing natural and healthy
beverages for Chinese consumers will help drive its market share growth. Such products
master a higher ASP as NF has successfully conveyed its message via marketing.
Jefferies said NF's vast coverage of both water sources (10 sources covering the whole
country) and distribution network (over 4000 distributors) ensure cost-efficiency.
Jefferies expects future sales growth will come from penetration in lower-tier cities,
market share gain outside of Hangzhou, and an increase in the consumption scenario. (KL)
