[ET Net News Agency, 17 September 2020] DBS Group Research lifted its target price for
Minth Group (00425) to HK$35 from HK$30 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house likes Minth for its more diversified market portfolio. The company is
expanding its European production capacity in the UK and Serbia to support automakers
there. The aim is to have an equal share of the revenue from Asia-Pacific (largest being
China), Europe and North America.
DBS believes Minth is ready to bounce back as global automobile production pick up along
with rising demand. Another plus is its penetration into Tesla's supplier network, which
could potentially lead to more business opportunities with the customer, given Minth's
strong track record with other international automakers.
DBS estimated Minth's FY2021 net earnings to post a V-shaped recovery of 45%, after an
anticipated 17% decline in FY2020. (KL)
