{I-bank focus}UBS raises WH Group (00288) to HK$9.12

[ET Net News Agency, 16 October 2019] UBS Global Research raised its target price for
WH Group (00288) to HK$9.12 from HK$8.96 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house believes WH Group's upcoming 3Q result will likely be a beat due to
better-than-expected Shuanghui profitability. UBS also sees an improved dynamics of China
packaged meat industry to benefit leading players like Shuanghui, and this along with the
financial benefit from strategically using frozen pork reserves could lead to a strong
EBIT delivery for in 2019-20.
It raised its earnings forecast by 8% in 2019 to reflect improved Shuanghui's 2019
profitability. (KL)
