[ET Net News Agency, 25 November 2019] Huatai Research raised its target price for SITC
International Holdings (01308) to HK$10.7 from HK$9.5 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house believes SITC's unique business model will keep delivering steady
earnings growth in the volatile shipping market, despite economic headwinds and the IMO
2020 fuel regulation.
Unlike peers operating either sea-based or land-based business, SITC offers services
that cover various stages of the supply chain, enabling it to respond effectively to the
rapidly changing market against a backdrop of economic slowdown, trade tensions, and
supply chain restructuring in Asia, Huatai added.
Huatai maintained its 2019 net profit forecast and raised its 2020/21 net profit by 3/4%
to factor in the recovery of charter income from its dry bulk vessels. (KL)
