{I-bank focus}Credit Suisse lowers SMIC (00981) to HK$18

[ET Net News Agency, 16 May 2022] Credit Suisse lowered its target price for SMIC
(00981) to HK$18 from HK$20 and maintained its "neutral" rating.
The research house said it sees an upside risk still from the solid mature node
capabilities to capture China localisation strength, though is capped by the US entity
list placement and concerns about high China inventory could reverse, amid slowing
consumer demand once comfort in supply improves. (RC)
