[ET Net News Agency, 17 June 2019] L'Occitane International S.A. (00973) said the
group's net sales were EUR1,426.9 million for the year ended 31 March 2019, recording
growth of 8.7% at constant exchange rates and 8.1% at reported exchange rates.
Its gross margin remained high at 83.2%. Operating profit grew by 6.9%. Despite an
unfavourable brand mix effect, mostly from LimeLife, operating margin was stable at 10.6%
as a result of improved sales momentum and the group's targeted investments.
Excluding LimeLife, the group's operating profit margin in fact improved by 0.8 points.
Net profit increased by 21.8% to EUR117.6 million. Earnings per share increased by 22.7%
and the board proposed a final dividend of EUR0.0297 per share. (KL)
