After netting out the effect of price changes over the same period, the volume of total
retail sales rose 10.1%.
The revised estimate of the value of total retail sales in January grew 14.9% to HK$43.2
billion, while the volume of total retail sales increased 9.1%.
For the first two months of 2012, total retail sales increased 15.2% in value and 9.5%
in volume over the same period a year earlier. (KL)
