SOCAM Development (00983) said the company and Needham Fortune Ltd. agreed to sell the entire issued share capital of Silver Reach Limited as well as offshore shareholder loans for Rmb264.3 million.
The principal asset of Silver Reach is the entire issued share capital of Best Surpass, which indirectly owns a plot of land located at the Wuqing District, Tianjin, with a total area of about 79,991 square metres to be developed into a residential development.
SOCAM Development will record a gain of about Rmb18 million on the disposal. The net proceeds of around Rmb166 million will be used by the Group for general working capital purpose.
