ASM Pacific Technology (00522) said its profit attributable to owners for the three months ended 31 March 2014 surged 18.7 times year-on-year and 2.3 times quarter-on-quarter to HK$157 million.
Its basic and diluted earnings per share were HK39 cents.
The turnover was HK$2.49 billion, an increase of 17.3% from a year earlier. Gross profit climbed 48.2% year-on-year to HK$808 million.
