ASM Pacific Technology (00522) said its profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2014 surged 140.8% year-on-year to HK$574 million.
Its basic and diluted earnings per share were HK$1.43.
The turnover was HK$5.93 billion, an increase of 19.2% from a year earlier.
For the three months ended 30 June 2014, net profit amounted to HK$417 million, an increase of 166.2% and 81.1% over the preceding quarter and the same period last year.
The proposed interim dividend is HK80 cents (2013: HK35 cents) per share, payable on or about 29 August.
