Lifestyle Properties Development (02183) said it reported a loss attributable to owners of HK$5.74 million for the six months ended 30 June 2014, as compared to the profit of HK$78.495 million for the same period last year.
Its basic loss per share was HK1.37 cents.
The Group ceased to receive any rental income following disposal of the property in Tianjin in April 2013 as the Group's other investment properties remained vacant during the period. As such, no turnover was recorded in the first half of 2014.
During the period under review, the Group did not receive any rental income from its investment properties and the only income source comprised mainly interest income from bank deposits and project management services income from Lifestyle International (01212), which in aggregate, was not sufficient to cover the Group's operating costs.
No interim dividend will be distributed.
