Beijing Enterprises Water (00371) said its profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended 30 June 2014 rose 38.8% year-on-year to HK$714 million.
Its basic and diluted earnings per share were HK8.31 cents and HK8.14 cents.
The revenue was HK$3,815.5 million, an increase of 38.1% from a year earlier. The gross profit margin increased from 40% to 42%.
Profit attributable to shareholders before the equity-settled share option expense was HK$771.6 million, an increase of 43% year-on-year.
The proposed interim dividend is HK3 cents (2013: HK2.5 cents) per share, payable on or before 10 October.
