Eagle Nice (02368) said it expects to record a substantial increase in profit for the six months ended 30 September 2014 as compared to the profit for the corresponding period in 2013.
The main reasons attributable to the expected substantial increase in profit are business reformation to focus on manufacturing higher margin products; improvement of production flow to enhance efficiency; and effective cost control including restructuring and streamlining of the Group's organizational structure, termination of leasing a factory premises in Shantou and implementation of a series of cost-saving measures.
Its interim results announcement is expected to be released in November.
