New China Life Insurance (NCI) (01336) said its net profit attributable to shareholders for the first nine months of 2014 rose 60.1% year-on-year to Rmb6,325 million.
Its basic and diluted earnings per share were Rmb2.03.
Operating income amounted to Rmb109,925 million, an increase of 21.5% from a year earlier.
For the three months ended 30 September 2014, NCI's net profit rose 46.2% year-on-year to Rmb2,577 million. Operating income rose 2.97% to Rmb28,633 million.
