Vigers Research said shop rents in core districts may have hit the peak, especially in Central.
It is reported that a 1,892 square feet shop on D'Aguilar Street was recently leased to New Balance (an athletic products company) for a monthly rent of HK$580,000, or HK$307 psf. The shop is currently leased to G2000 (a fashion group) for the same rent, with the tenancy agreement expiring soon.
