Reorient Group (00376) said it reported a profit attributable to equity shareholders of HK$759 million for the year ended 31 December 2014, as compared to the loss of HK$87.39 million for the previous financial year.
Its basic and diluted earnings per share were HK$1.73.
The revenue was HK$133 million, an increase of 72.05% from a year earlier.
The net income for the year was mainly driven by the proprietary investments which have contributed HK$920.5 million in unrealized holding gains for the year. The value of such investment may significantly fluctuate from time to time as a result of the changes in market value of the investments.
No final dividend will be distributed.
