Xinyi Glass (00868) said its net profit attributable to equity holders for the year ended 31 December 2014 dropped 61.3% year-on-year to HK$1,364 million.
Its basic and diluted earnings per share were HK34.78 cents and HK34.57 cents.
The revenue from continuing operations amounted to HK$10,861 million, an increase of 9.3% from a year earlier.
The overall gross profit margin of the Group dropped from 31.6% to 25.2% principally due to the decreases in the selling prices of the float glass products, as a result of the over-supply of float glass in the market, partially offset by the strong demand for Low-E glass products of the Group.
The proposed final dividend is HK6 cents (2013: HK14 cents) per share, payable on or before 7 July.
