Tingyi (00322) said its profit attributable to owners for the three months ended 31 March 2015 dropped 16.63% year-on-year to US$107 million.
The basic and diluted earnings per share were US1.91 cents.
The turnover was US$2,321 million, a decrease of 16.56% from a year earlier.
The group's gross profit margin in the first quarter increased by 1.28 percentage points to 31.66% on a year-on-year basis, and gross profit amount dropped 13.04% due to the decline of sales.
No dividend will be distributed for the reporting period.
