Dongfeng Motor Group (00489) said its profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended 30 June 2015 dropped 19% year-on-year to Rmb6,885 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were Rmb79.91 cents.
The revenue was Rmb65,853 million, an increase of 102.4% from a year earlier, which was mainly due to the change in basis of consolidation and the increase in sales of new models of passenger vehicles.
Gross profit rose 85.6% to Rmb8,426 million. The comprehensive gross margin decreased by 1.2 percentage points to about 12.8% from 14% of last year.
No interim dividend will be distributed.
