China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) (01829) said its profit attributable to the shareholders for the six months ended 30 June 2015 dropped 24.6% year-on-year to Rmb819.8 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were Rmb20 cents.
The revenue was Rmb8,237 million, a decrease of 25.7% from a year earlier. The group's gross profit margin decreased by 2.8 percentage points to about 16.4% from 19.2%.
No interim dividend will be distributed.
