HSI ends down 155 pts at 22,360 midday; turnover at HK$56bn

    HK stocks closed lower on Thursday morning session with the benchmark index reversing early gains despite the A-share market rally.
  The Hang Seng Index ended down 155 points to 22,360, losing the 50-day moving average (22,466). The H-share index dropped 119 points to 10,275. Half-day turnover increased to HK$56 billion from HK$47.8 billion on Wednesday.
  The northbound quota balance of the "Shanghai-HK Connect" program was Rmb10.198 billion, accounting for 78.4% of the daily allowed quota of Rmb13 billion. The southbound quota balance was Rmb11.014 billion, surpassing the quota of Rmb10.5 billion. It means sell trade value was larger than buy order value.
  Market heavyweights were mixed. China Mobile (00941) slid 1.27% to HK$93.65, while HSBC (00005) nudged up 0.32% to HK$62.25.
  CKI (01038) raised the merger offer for Power Assets (00006). The former edged up 0.07% to HK$69.15 while the latter rose 1.03% to HK$73.4.
  Macau gaming stocks regained momentum after the China National Tourism Administration said the number of visitors to Macau during the Golden Week holiday rose 6.3%. Sands China (01928) put on 3.8% to HK$28.7 and Galaxy Ent (00027) picked up 3.44% to HK$25.55, making themselves the top and second-top blue-chip gainer by midday.
