China Maple Leaf Educational Systems (01317) said its net profit for the year ended 31 August 2015 surged 413.4% year-on-year to Rmb206 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were Rmb0.17 and Rmb0.16.
The revenue was Rmb653 million, an increase of 20.9% from a year earlier.
Adjusted net profit amounted to Rmb186 million, up 45.8% year-on-year. Gross margin increased from 43.5% to 45.7% due largely to the increased utilization of certain schools resulting from an increase in student enrolment.
The proposed final and special dividend is HK4.3 cents (2014: Nil) and HK2.7 cents (2014: Nil) per share, payable on or about 5 February 2016.
