RoadShow (00888) said it expects the Group will record a loss for the year ending 31 December 2015.
The Group recorded a profit after taxation of about HK$77 million for the year ended 31 December 2014, of which about HK$32 million was for a non-recurring gain on disposal after tax of the entire equity interest in an investee, and the Group recorded an unaudited loss after taxation of about HK$12 million for the six months ended 30 June 2015.
Such anticipated loss is mainly attributable to the reduction in revenue due to worsening market conditions in the second half of the year particularly with regard to the retail sector, together with an increase in royalty, licence and management fees, an estimated exchange loss and the prudent one-off provision announced earlier for impairment loss on accounts receivable as at 30 June 2015 of about HK$11 million.
Its annual results announcement is expected to be published in March 2016.
