China Pacific Insurance (Group) (CPIC) (02601) said its net profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the three months ended 31 March 2016 dropped 55.1% year-on-year to Rmb2,199 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were Rmb0.24.
Operating income was Rmb83,443 million, an increase of 13.1% from a year earlier.
During the reporting period, CPIC realized gross written premiumsof Rmb78.217 billion, representing an increase of 25.5% as compared to the same period of last year.
