Evergrande Real Estate (03333) said the Group's contracted sales of properties for April amounted to about Rmb23.06 billion with the contracted sales area of about 2.61 million square meters, an increase of 52.5% and 23.6% from a year earlier. The average contracted selling price of properties was Rmb8,830 per square metre, an increase of 23.4% over the same period in 2015.
For the first four months of 2016, the aggregate contracted sales of the Evergrande Group's properties amounted to about Rmb88.73 billion with the contracted sales area of about 10.12 million square metres, an increase of 94.3% and 64.5% over the same period last year. The average selling price amounted to about Rmb8,771 per square metres, up 18.2% year-on-year.
