HK stocks opened lower on Friday following mixed performance of the US equity markets overnight. The Hang Seng Index opened down 118 points to 22,055. The H-share index fell 50 points to 9,032.
Market heavyweights were softer. HSBC (00005) fell 1% to HK$50.3. China Mobile (00941) edged down 0.1% to HK$97.5. Tencent (00700) inched down 0.1% to HK$189. HKEx (00388) fell 0.3% to HK$191.5.
