Vitop Group (01178) said its loss attributable to owners for the year ended 30 June 2016 widened to HK$113 million from HK$30.39 million for the previous financial year.
Basic loss per share was HK3.59 cents.
The revenue was HK$106 million, an increase of 281.7% from a year earlier.
The increase in loss was mainly attributed to the combined effect of the substantial non-recurring other operating expenses incurred during the year.
The overall gross profit margin of the Group for the year increased by 2.2% to about 32.7% as compared to last financial year. Such increase reflects the effect of latest conservative pricing policy and the effect of newly recorded sales in honey and healthcare food supplements.
No final dividend will be distributed.
