China Shenhua Energy (01088) said the generator No. 2 of "Replacing Small Capacity Units with Large Capacity Ones" New Construction Project of its subsidiary Shenhua Guohua Shouguang Power Generation Co., Ltd. has successfully completed its 168-hour full-load trial run and been put into commercial production.
The project planned to construct a 2x1,000MW domestic super ultra-critical coal-fired power generators, and correspondingly cease the operation of the total of 519.5MW small thermal power generators in Shandong Province. The generator No. 1 of the project has completed its 168-hour fully-loaded trial run in July
2016 and put into commercial production.
Shouguang Power Plant is held as to 60% equity interest by China Shenhua.
